Necmettin Erbakan University Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School started to provide education under the name of Selçuk University Ereğli Vocational School in the 1987-1988 academic year. Our graduates receive an Associate Degree Diploma and the title of Electronic Communication Technician.
If students have obtained a total of 120 ECTS credits in 4 semesters and successfully completed all courses with a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully completed their 25-day internship, they will be entitled to receive a diploma upon graduation.
Our students who graduate from our program receive the necessary training in the fields of communication, informatics, computers, electronics and automation with laboratory support. In addition, our graduates can work in the fields of Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical-Electronics, Industry, Energy Systems, Control and Automation, Software and Information Science.
Our department has a Communication and Automation Laboratory. Thus, our students take themselves to a higher level and receive a qualified education.
Our students who achieve a certain academic level can enroll in double major programs in the Department of Electrical and Energy, Department of Computer Technologies and Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies.
Our students can transfer to Engineering with the Vertical Transfer Exam.
