FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
Graduates may work in accounting offices or upon completing the required examinations and internship processes,obtain the title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA/SMMM) and, subsequently, Sworn-in Certified PublicAccountant (YMM). With these qualifications, they may establish their own offices and offer independentprofessional services.
Graduates can work in departments such as commercial lending, retail banking, financial analysis, portfoliomanagement and risk assessment of banks and financial institutions.
Graduates can be employed as specialists or managers in the accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, cashmanagement, and reporting units of small, medium and large-scale enterprises.
Graduates may be employed in public institutions such as the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Court ofAccounts, the Revenue Administration, the Social Security Institution (SGK), municipalities, and other governmentalbodies, particularly in departments of accounting, revenue management and financial services.
Graduates can pursue careers in national and international firms that provide financial auditing, evaluation ofinternal control systems and financial consulting services.
Graduates who complete their postgraduate studies may pursue career in higher education institutions as researchassistants, lecturers or academics.
