The Department of Geomatics Engineering at Konya Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Engineering was established in 2010 under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. The department was founded with the aim of educating technically competent professionals who will hold the title of "Geomatics Engineer" and contribute effectively to the development of our country.

Our vision is to become a respected and internationally recognized department that provides education aligned with national needs in the light of current technologies, contributes to science and technology through research and practical applications at both national and international levels, and offers well-trained graduates for the service of society and humanity.The Department of Geomatics Engineering at Konya Necmettin Erbakan University consists of six academic divisions: Surveying Techniques, Geodesy, Photogrammetry, Cartography, Land Management, and Remote Sensing.
