Department of Physical Education and Sports

The Department of Physical Education and Sports was established in 2017 within the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education. The Division of Physical Education and Sports was also founded in 2017, and it began its graduate education programs in 2018 and its doctoral program in the fall semester of the 2021–2022 academic year.

Graduate education is conducted under the Institute of Educational Sciences with the program titled Physical Education and Sports. Each year, an average of 25 students are admitted to the master’s program and 5 students to the doctoral program.

As of the 2024–2025 academic year, the Division of Physical Education and Sports carries out its educational and research activities with a staff consisting of 4 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, 2 Lecturers, and 1 Research Assistant.
