Department of Physical Education and Sports

The Department of Physical Education and Sports was established in 2017 within the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education. The Physical Education and Sports Department was founded in 2017, and postgraduate education began in 2018, with doctoral programs starting in the Fall semester of 2021-2022. It operates under the Institute of Educational Sciences as the Physical Education and Sports program. Each year, it accepts an average of 25 students into the master's program and 5 into the doctoral program. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the Physical Education and Sports Department conducts its educational and research activities with 4 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, 2 Lecturers, and 1 Research Assistant.
