Meram Vocational School Food Processing Department Flour and Flour Products Technology Program was established within the framework of the education and training cooperation protocol signed between our University and Konya Commodity Exchange, Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Chamber of Commerce, Turkish Flour Industrialists Federation and Central Anatolia Flour Industrialists Association on 08.06.2015. Meram Vocational School Food Processing Department Flour and Flour Products Technology Program aims to train qualified workforce who can work in the milling of grains and grain products (legumes), especially wheat, storage and marketing of flour and management of mills.

The purpose of Meram Vocational School Food Processing Department Flour and Flour Products Technology Program is; The aim of the program is to train technicians who have internalized the concepts and principles related to their subject, who can meet the needs of the sector, who can produce high-quality, reliable and economical flour and bakery products, who can offer their knowledge to the benefit of the relevant industry and society by conducting scientific and applied education and research, who can follow professional and academic developments in the field of flour and bakery products, and who can adapt the knowledge and skills they have acquired to technological developments at national and international levels.
