Founded in 1962, Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Konya. Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education, which joined Necmettin Erbakan University in the 2011-2012 academic year, continues its activities with more than 250 academic staff and students in 10 departments (24 Departments of Education).
Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education; It aims to train highly qualified teachers who can think scientifically, who are modern, democratic, sensitive to culture and art, who can apply theoretical knowledge that accepts diversity as a wealth, who are aware of the meaning of their profession, who have high civil courage.
AHMET KELESOGLU
He was born in Ermenek in 1924. He is the 5th of the six children of the Merchant Hacı Mustafa İNCİKOĞLU. He belongs to a wealthy family. His father, seeing his commercial talent, encouraged him to enter the trade at an early age. Ahmet KELEŞOĞLU started texting at a young age and then turned it into a “bonmarşe” store that meets all the needs of the people. Later, Mr. Ahmet , along with his brother-in-law Nevzat KARPUZCU, a pharmacist, established a pharmaceutical distribution company in Konya in 1958. Since Konya has been the center of Anatolian Seljuks for many years, as a sign of respect for Seljuks, they named the company he founded with the hope of longevity as "Selçuk Ecza Warehouse". Today, "Selçuk Ecza", the largest of AKSEL Holding's 8 (eight) companies, is the 2nd largest health sector in Turkey. It is among the top 50 (fifty) organizations in Turkey in paying taxes. Selçuk Ecza and Aksel Holding employ 4000 people and distribute 1000 vehicles to pharmacies every day. Until 1980, while operating only in the field of pharmaceutical storage in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector, in 1980, Ibrahim Ethem became a partner of ULAGAY Pharmaceutical Industry T.A.Ş. and continued to work as an industrialist since then. In 1980-1990, Selçuk Ecza Warehouses rapidly increased the number of branches with the aim of growing, while also establishing and developing a new warehouse chain, As Ecza Warehouses. Thus, with more than 4000 employees, 33 branches successfully provided the "National Pharmaceutical Warehouse" structure serving every corner of Turkey. In 1995, he entered the tourism and construction sector and launched the 600-bed "Clup Hotel Phaselis Rose" in Kemer Tekirova. In the construction sector, it carried out "Selçuklu Konakları" with luxury housing constructions in the form of business centers and sites in various places. Ahmet KELEŞOĞLU, which has basic principles such as integrity, honesty, work and selflessness, has projects in education, culture, health, tourism and great financial and moral support for charity purposes. With their donations and support in the field of education in Istanbul; Anatolian High School and Sports Hall in Uskudar, 40 (forty) classroom annexes of Hafize Özal Elementary School, gymnasium, Ahmet-Nezahat Keleşoglu Primary Schools have been launched. He continues his support and assistance by gifting a touristic hotel to his hometown of Ermenek. Ahmet KELEŞOĞLU, who works out in the mornings, works well, has the characteristics of being honest, "cut one's coat according to cloth", will serve in the fields of education, health and culture by increasing the number of scholarship students he advises to be reliable, respectable and selfless every year and taking them on the aim of raising them as good people to the country and their families; Nezahat-Ahmet Keleşoğlu Foundation. Through this foundation, he aimed to provide continuity to help the children of employees within the Holding and to help smart and poor students. Ahmet KELEŞOĞLU died in Istanbul on January 14, 2015 at the age of 91.
