Computer Engineering Department was established in 2011 and started admitting first students in 2013. The department consists of 5 departments as named Computer Software, Computer Hardware, Computer Science, Control and Command Systems and Artificial Intelligence.
Computer Engineering Department aims to train engineers who:
- Lead the computer technologies sector in our country and around the world in academic and technological fields.
- Can follow technological and scientific developments in this field.
- Can think academically and analytically with having scientific production power.
The aims of the Computer Engineering Department:
- To take part to the establishment of standards in the field of Computer Engineering in our country and the world,
- To become a center of attraction for students and lecturers with its rich academic staff, wide areas of expertise, variety of courses offered, scientific publications and projects carried out, and the quality of course programs,
- To actualize university-industry cooperation in the field of computer technologies,
- To educate creative graduates with analytical thinking and analysis skills, advanced social communication skills,
- Establishing the educational infrastructure in Computer Engineering education: Establishing laboratories with up-to-date technologies as technical equipment, tools and equipment,
- To provide efficient and quality education with interactive lectures,
- To produce projects that will solve the problems of our country in order to benefit our industry, country and society,
- To contribute to the spread and progress of computer technologies in every field by cooperating with other engineering fields and different departments.
