The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was founded in 2011. The department consists of 6 specialization fields. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is advanced in its profession, equipped and open to development; It aims to train engineers who can evaluate the theories, practices, ideas, opinions and techniques that exist in the world, who can pass their own thought filter, and who can make their own decisions.

Necmettin Erbakan University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2011-2012 academic year with 3 lecturers. In the 2012-2013 academic year, it started education by taking undergraduate students with a quota of 50 students and gave its first graduates in 2016.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Undergraduate Program is a 4-year program consisting of 8 semesters with a total value of 240 ECTS. With the 7+1 Education Model, education and training are carried out as theoretical and practical courses in university for 7 terms, and as full-time practice in enterprises for 1 term. Our department is to consists of 3 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 6 Doctoral Faculty Members, and 5 Research Assistants. Our department consists of 6 Departments: Circuits and Systems, Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Techniques , Electrical Machinery, Electronics, Electrical Facilities and Telecommunications.
Aiming to move to its fully equipped building in the coming years, Necmettin Erbakan University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department will carry itself forward with adequate laboratories and research centers.

As a department primarily preferred by successful university students, Electrical-Electronics Engineering aims to provide its students with the following tasks in the fields of engineering discipline, which are needed by the industry and society.

Research Labs
Our department has its own Electrical Machinery Laboratory and Basic Electronics Laboratory.
Electrical machine tests and power tests are carried out in our electrical machinery laboratory.
Basic electronics experiments, digital electronics experiments, circuit theory experiments and programmable logic controller experiments are carried out in our basic electronics laboratory.
