About us

Aim:

The IT sector is in a continuous and dynamic development due to the rapidly changing market and competition conditions at the global level. Due to these features, the informatics sector attracts the attention of countries as a strategic industry and special plans are made for this sector.

Department of Computer Technologies; It applies a curriculum in the fields of software development for different platforms, installation and management of hardware and computer networks. Students who graduate as computer technicians study to specialize in both theory and practice.

Main Courses Taught in Computer Programming Program:

In this program, programming fundamentals, computer graphics, office software, visual programming, database, internet programming, object-oriented programming, network fundamentals and server operating systems, system analysis and design are the main courses for professional qualification.

Qualifications and Fields of Work Gained by Graduates:

In line with the qualifications gained by the graduate students; are employed in the IT sector. As the graduates of the program can make their own initiatives; they will be able to fill the gap of IT personnel needed in the IT, software, hardware, communication networks or maintenance and repair services of public and private sector organizations.

Departments to be applied with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS):

Those who have completed this two-year program can continue their education in computer engineering, software engineering, computer teaching, computer and instructional technology teaching, information technology, physics, statistics, information technologies, aerospace engineering at the end of the vertical transfer exam conducted by ÖSYM. In addition, all graduates have the opportunity to continue their education at the Open Education Faculty, economics or business administration departments, starting from the third year and complete their undergraduate studies.
