About Us

Aviation Management Department was established in 2012.

The Department of Aviation Management provides the ability to learn and interpret aviation components, regulations, rules, scientific approaches, principles and procedures in the field of aviation; management components enable them to understand business science and apply it effectively in the fields of aviation management. Thus, it aims to train individuals who will create a broad knowledge base so that they can develop analytical thinking, scientific approach, sensitive decision-making and effective communication skills.

The aim of the Aviation Management Department is; It is aimed that students have behaviors and approaches such as adherence to professional rules, ethical behaviors, constant attention to aviation safety, introduction to specific career areas related to aviation management and the knowledge and professional skills expected from professionals, the evolving role of the aviation industry and the competencies to identify and evaluate real problems.

Marketing, accounting, financing, flight operation, planning, demand and forecast determination, management and organization, technological developments, quality, safety management system in the airline transportation sector, which offers various activities such as airline, airport, ground handling, cargo and catering. There are fields of study such as human resource management.

The programs determined in our department have the opportunity to do a double major.
