About Us

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics was established on 14/07/2010 and started undergraduate education in 2013-2014 academic year. The department consists of two departments: Molecular Biology and Genetics, Bioinformatics.
Molecular Biology and Genetics Department trains qualified individuals who can compete at national and international level, who can associate their national identity with global values, who are researchers, entrepreneurs, innovative, respectful to the environment, society and ethical values, who will conduct science and technology studies at academic and industrial level, and who have the ability to think analytically. aims to contribute to the qualified workforce needed in the fields of molecular biology and genetics in our country and to become a leading department in its field by conducting innovative research with interdisciplinary studies.
The purpose of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics; to train qualified manpower for molecular biology applications and to increase university-industry cooperation.
