Career Opportunities

Graduates of the department can work in both the private and public sectors, such as the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, Ministry of Development, Ministry of European Union, Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, etc. They can work as urban and regional planners in ministries, institutions and organizations such as the Prime Minister's Mass Housing Administration (TOKİ), İl Bank A.Ş., TÜBİTAK, provincial administrations, development agencies, municipalities, various non-governmental organizations and the Chamber of Urban Planners. In the private sector, they can actively work in all kinds of architectural, construction and private planning offices, real estate appraisal companies, banks, etc. They can also start their own planning office or company.
