About Us

Environmental Engineering Department was established in 2010. Undergraduate education started in the 2012-2013 academic year. In addition to undergraduate education, postgraduate education is also provided in our department. In the Environmental Engineering Department, there are two Departments: "Environmental Technologies" and "Environmental Sciences". Our Environmental Engineering Department Master's program started education in the 2012-2013 academic year, and our PhD program in the 2013-2014 academic year within the Institute of Science.

To raise creative and self-confident Environmental Engineers who can fulfill the responsibilities of their profession, constantly improve themselves and follow professional developments, contribute to science and technology with the researches carried out, and be an exemplary department that aims continuous development with the quality of education and research at the national and international level.

Educational Objectives:
To train qualified and well-equipped environmental engineers who can produce solutions to environmental problems by putting into practice the theoretical knowledge gained during the education, develop applications for the sustainable use of environmental resources, carry out individual and team work, and take care of the benefit of society.
