Necmettin Erbakan University Ereğli Kemal Akman Vocational School started to give education under the name of Selçuk University Ereğli Vocational School in the 1987-1988 academic year. Our graduates receive the title of Electronic Communications Technician with their Associate Degree Diploma. Students will receive a diploma upon graduation if they have obtained 120 ECTS credits in 4 semesters, completed all the courses with a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully completed their 25-day internship.
Our students who graduate from our program receive the necessary training in communication, informatics, computers, electronics and automation with laboratory support. Additionally, our graduating students can work in the fields of Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical-Electronics, Industry, Energy Systems, Control and Automation, Software and Information Science.
There is a Communication and Automation Laboratory within our department. Thus, our students take themselves to a higher level and receive a qualified education.
Our students who have achieved a certain academic level can enrol in double major programs in the Department of Electricity and Energy, Department of Computer Technologies and Department of Mechanical and Metal Technologies.
Our students can transfer to Engineering with the External Transfer Exam.
