Prof. Dr. Yaşar KARADAĞ


Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ was born in Adana in 1969. He completed his primary and secondary education in Adana. He started his undergraduate education at Çukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops in 1987 and graduated in 1991 as the third student of the Faculty of Agriculture and the top student of the Field Crops Department. He completed his master's degree at the same university's Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Field Crops, in 1994. In 1993, he started working as a research assistant at Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops. He completed his doctorate in the Field Crops Department of the Institute of Science and Technology of the same university in 1999. He received the title of Assistant Professor in 2003, Associate Professor in 2005, and Professor in 2010. He has conducted many scientific researches and investigations both at home and abroad, respectively in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, France, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prof. Dr. Under the supervision of Yaşar Karadağ, he has carried out a total of 26 postgraduate theses, including 22 Masters and 4 PhD theses. He has published 178 scientific works so far. He took part as a manager and researcher in 136 projects. Prof. is also the recipient of the TUBİTAK Scientific Incentive Award. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ is among the most influential scientists in the world in terms of H index values. Prof. Dr. Yaşar KARADAĞ, throughout his university academic life, respectively; He has been serving as Deputy Head of the Field Crops Department at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Agriculture, Department Head, Deputy Dean, Dean of Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Agriculture, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Muş Alparslan University Vice Rector and Dean of Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Agriculture since October 24, 2024. Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ is married and has two children.
