A six-week internship program is being implemented for term 6 students. The Meram district has been identified as the training-research region by signing a protocol with our University and the Konya Governorate. The program includes practical education and training at the Family Health Centers (ASM), Community Health Center (TSM), Maternal-Child Health and Family Planning Center, Tuberculosis Struggle Dispensary, Cancer Early Detection, Screening and Training Centre (KETEM) and 112 Emergency Health Care Services. In addition, we have seminars, discussions, statistical data analysis, presentations of the community health centers’ activity reports and group activities. Students also involves in provincial health services activities and seminars and visit public health institutes and companies; such as KOSKI and etc. Also, visits related to occupational health and safety are carrying out to various workplaces.
