Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

About Us

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design was established in 2013. It consists of two sub-departments, which are Interior Architecture and Environmental Design.

During the four years of education, the department aims to train qualified "Interior Architects and Environmental Designers" who are able to design livable indoor and outdoor spaces based on visual perception, provide solutions that combine aesthetics and function, design interiors to be comfortable and enhance the quality of life for the user, design the immediate environment, bring nature into the space, integrate traditional arts and design using science and technology.

The main goal of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is to be a bridge that connects the past to the future, where the understanding of art born from one's culture and identity is kept alive in every corner of the urban habitat. It also aims to train designers who are physiologically and psychologically healthy, unique, functional and environmentally sustainable, who meet the amenities and needs of their environment while producing economic solutions by applying functional and aesthetic knowledge in interior and environmental arrangements.
