Career Opportunities

Being able to better analyze developments in world politics at both national and global levels, graduates of the program will have wide variety of career opportunities in today’s working conditions. They can find career opportunities at home and abroad in the private and the public sectors. They will find job opportunities in public sector such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Customs, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as private companies, and various mass media organizations. The graduates can also find employment in the banking and finance sector, particularly in national and international banks. Additionally, they can find positions in international non-governmental organizations, the social research sector, think tanks, and international institutions.

On the other hand, since the department aims to enhance the learning process for students, graduates have the chance of continuing their graduate studies in different universities in Turkey and around the world in fields ranging from international relations to management, political science, economics, and sociology. Therefore, they can also work as academic staff by doing academic studies at universities.
