Department of Basic Sciences at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences; Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Histology - embryology, The Department of Veterinary Medicine consists of History and Deontology. The department courses, which are the substructure of the veterinary Medicine profession, are given in the first two years of the faculty. The department courses consist of two parts, theoretical and applied. In this way, theoretical subjects are reinforced in laboratory environment with applications.
The courses, which are studied in the respective departments, provide information on the development of cells, animal body structures, tissue, organs and systems, tasks, operation, vitality events at the cellular and molecular level, metabolic concepts, vital processes, history of veterinary medicine and the rules of professional ethics and legislation, animal well-being. In this way, the basic knowledge and occupational awareness of veterinary medicine are tried to be established.
