PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE PROGRAM
Students who complete a four-year undergraduate degree earn the title of "Psychological counselor." They can work in the following areas:
- Work as a school counselor in public and private schools
- Work as a psychological counselor in special education
- Work as a psychological counselor in counseling and research centers
- Work as a psychological counselor in private companies
- Work as a psychological counselor in the Ministry of Family and Social Policies
- Work as a pedagogue in the Child and Family Court
- Specialize in higher education and work as a research assistant during the graduate program.
CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION PROGRAM
Our department continues its scientific and academic activities in line with the following purposes.
- To contribute to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of education programs and teaching.
- To be a pioneer in program development studies in Turkey.
- To support individuals working in the education units of public institutions and organizations, especially teachers, in their self-development.
- Carrying out national and international projects.
- To develop cooperation with the departments of different universities abroad, to make agreements, to exchange faculty members and students.
EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM
Our graduates can work as administrators in the central and provincial organizations of the Ministry of National Education and also take on administrative roles in private educational institutions. When they assume managerial roles in organizations other than educational institutions, our graduates can also be successful thanks to the scientific background they have acquired in our programs.
We offer a qualified education that is closely aligned with current developments in our educational system. Our teaching staff consists of faculty members with professional experience in teaching, school management, and supervision in the Ministry of National Education.
As a program that embraces Atatürk's wise saying, "Science is the truest guide. It is imprudence, deviation, ignorance to seek guidance other than science." Our mission is to bring our students to a level of management where they can think, and act based on data and with a solid theoretical background and scientific perspective.
MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION IN EDUCATION PROGRAM
Our department is not yet able to train experts, but career opportunities awaiting our graduates in the coming years include working in various organizations of Ministry of Education and in universities, as well as in schools, public and private institutions at different levels.
