Necmettin Erbakan University Erasmus Coordination Office has received a budget approval of €171,224 from the Turkish National Agency, adding 18 new countries to the Erasmus+ cooperation network under the KA171 Non-European Countries Program. The aim of this approved project is to enhance our university's collaboration with universities outside the European Union.
With the KA171 project to be implemented in the 2024-2025 academic year, our university will cooperate with universities from 18 different countries (Canada, Indonesia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, Algeria, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kenya, and Sudan). This cooperation includes the exchange of students, faculty members, and administrative staff.
In 2024, the Turkish National Agency evaluated a total of 141 project applications and accepted the projects of 116 universities. With this project approved by the Turkish National Agency, our university has received a budget of €171,224, ranking 12th nationwide.
Increasing Erasmus Support Year by Year
Our university received €4,620 (1 country) in 2019, €39,650 (5 countries) in 2022, and €52,095 (11 countries) in 2023 from the Turkish National Agency. In 2024, we received €171,224 (18 countries), achieving a 228% increase compared to the previous year.
