About Us

Meram Vocational School Food Processing Department Flour and Bakery Products Technology Program was established within the framework of the education and training cooperation protocol signed on 08.06.2015 between Necmettin Erbakan University and Konya Commodity Exchange, Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Chamber of Commerce, Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation and Central Anatolian Flour Industrialists Association.
Meram Vocational School Food Processing Department Flour and Bakery Products Technology Program aims to train qualified workforce who can take part in the grinding of grains and grain products (legumes), storage of flour, marketing and management of mills, especially wheat.
The purpose of the Meram Vocational School Food Processing Department Flour and Bakery Products Technology Program is being able to respond to the needs of the sector, assimilating the concepts and principles related to its subject, able to produce high quality, reliable and economical flour and bakery products, presenting its knowledge to the benefit of the relevant industry branch and society by doing scientific and applied education, and following professional and academic developments in the field of flour and bakery products and to train technicians who can adapt their acquired knowledge and skills to technological developments at national and international level.
