Science Education Department

About the Program

Our department was established in 1997 to train Science Teachers within the framework of the restructuring of education faculties. Our Department, which started to provide education in the 1998-1999 academic year, provides 4-year undergraduate education as well as graduate education.
With the reorganization of the education faculties, the departments and departments were restructured in the 2016-2017 academic year, and with the new arrangement, the Department of Mathematics and Science Education in Ahmet Keleşoğlu Education Faculty was named as Science Education Department. The language of instruction of the Department of Science Education is Turkish and the duration of education is 4 years.

Career Opportunities

Our graduates can be employed as Science Teachers and administrators in private or public schools. In addition, students can also work as teaching staff in higher education institutions by completing a master's degree and doctorate in the Department of Science Education or other disciplines that accept students from this field.
