Career Opportunities
The goal of our program is to train teachers who are democratic, self-confident, hardworking, contemporary, successful, loyal to the Turkish laws and Atatürk's principles, and respectful to their environment. Our program supports pre-service EFL teachers in not only adopting social values and principles but also gaining professional competence in applying their theoretical knowledge on the teaching of language skills, foreign language education, second language acquisition, and teaching methods into practice through microteachings and field teaching practices in assigned schools. After they graduate, the students in our program can work as teachers in public and private schools or cram schools all over the country and share their knowledge and expertise with English language learners at different ages and proficiency levels. They can also pursue an academic career in related fields in our university or other universities in the country.
